Polyacetal – polyoxymethylene (POM) Ertacetal

Application

Gears with small modules, clicks, heavily loaded bearings and rollers, bearings and gears with small clearances, complex parts, all kinds of stable dimensional precision parts, electrical components, parts working continuously under water at 60-80 °C.

Main features:

  • high mechanical strength, stiffness and strength;
  • excellent elasticity;
  • good creep resistance;
  • high impact strength even at low temperatures;
  • very good dimensional stability (low water absorption);
  • good sliding properties and wear resistance;
  • excellent workability;
  • good insulating and dielectric properties;
  • physiologically inert (suitable for contact with food and drugs)

ERTACETAL C and H (POM-C and POM-H): Color: natural (white), black
These are clean copolymers and homopolymers.
ERTACETAL H-TF (POM-H + Teflon): Color: Dark brown
Ertacetal H-TF is a combination of Teflon fibers evenly distributed in the acetate resin. Compared with Ertacetal H and C, this material offers superior sliding properties. Bearings from Ertacetal H-TF show low friction and long life.
