Blanks of STANDARD AND SPECIAL MATERIAL BASED PP (polypropylene)

  • sheets with thicknesses of 0.5 to 200 mm;
  • thin-walled tubes with diameters from 10 to 1000 mm;
  • fittings with diameters of 16 to 1000 mm;
  • solid rods with diameters from 6 up to 800 mm;
  • thick-walled tubes with diameters of 125 to 450 mm;
  • profiles and electrodes;
  • electrical connecting fittings;
  • valves.
This is the lightest thermoplastic whose mechanical properties are superior than those to the polyethylene. Its main use is focused on the chemical industry where overall strength coupled with a good resistance to alkalis and acidic. At room temperature polypropylene is stable to almost all chemical attacks, while at 70˚C can hardly be affected. This plastic has very little environmental impact. Greater hardness or wear resistance of abrasion can be achieved when the material is reinforced with glass fibers.

Some of its main features are:

  • Good stability at high temperatures;
  • Easy workability and low specific weight;
  • High chemical resistance;
  • High durability;
  • Excellent electrical insulator;
  • Minimum water absorption;
